Dr. Tina O’Neal to serve as a 2023-2024 Faculty Fellow with IUPUI Office of International Affairs
Congratulations to Dr. Tina O’Neal for being selected as a Faculty Fellow with IUPUI Office of International Affairs for the 2023-2024 academic year. In addition to her current development of our New “Inspire, Educate, and Transform: Ghana Short-Term Study Abroad" program, Dr. O’Neal will serve as a catalyst to strengthen the infrastructures that support study abroad and drive innovation within the School of Education for study abroad programs, projects, and initiatives. Some of her work will include conducting a thorough needs assessment, engaging faculty, staff, and students to identify the barriers that may hinder student participation in study abroad programs. With the insights gathered, Dr. O’Neal plans to develop and implement a Study Abroad Action Plan, complete with specific goals and measurable metrics to guide our progress.
These initiatives collectively reflect the IUPUI Office of International Affairs dedication to creating a more inclusive, globally-aware educational environment where students have every opportunity to enrich their learning through international experiences.
