About the CRC
The Curriculum Resource Center (CRC) has continued to grow and develop into an essential component of the teacher education program in the School of Education. It is much more than a collection of books, it is the supporting centerpiece for the academic program of the School. Direct support of the program is provided through a vast collection of K-12 textbooks and materials utilized daily by over 143 sections of education courses, 1200 students and over 80 full and part-time faculty. Materials are taken into the classrooms and entire classes visit the CRC to utilize and evaluate these resources. The CRC supports the technology activities of the students with a variety of media materials and equipment and also provides the resources so that students can create and develop their own learning materials.
To assist students with preparing for important licensure exams, the the CASA and CORE Tutoring Center is also available in the CRC.
Perhaps most importantly, the CRC serves as a place for our students to meet to study, work on group projects, and network. It also provides a communication point for our student groups. It is truly the center of student activity for education undergraduates.
The Curriculum Resource Center is located at 902 W. New York St. on the first floor of the Education/Social Work Building at IUPUI in room 1125. Use Entry 6 directly across from the Natatorium.
