Today’s technologically-advanced learners are faced with countless influences online. How can we, as educators and parents, engage our students in topics around digital citizenship and social responsibility? This 30-hour online workshop will focus on the current trends and case laws surrounding online behaviors of today’s youth. Practitioners will gain a deeper understanding of various social media tools, possible uses, and strategies for educating their students on the "dangers" that can arise when using social media.
