Biography
Dr. Scribner is an Associate Professor and Director of Urban Educational Leadership & Policy Program. She focuses on critical approaches to and analyses of the ethics, culture and politics of urban educational leadership, particularly in communities serving Latinx students and families. Her teaching includes courses on school-community engagement, leadership ethics, organizational theory and critical policy analysis. She emplys critical qualitative methods in her research.Dr. Scribner also serves as the Executive Director of the Consortium for the Study of Leadership Ethics and Education, an international consortium and UCEA Center, composed of of scholars and practitioners dedicated to advancing and supporting research and teaching addressing ethics and values of educational leadership.
