Biography

Currently I teach in both the elementary teacher education program and the graduate program. The courses I teach focus on science, technology and research methods. My own research interests include understanding how people learn and also how issues of race, equity and power impact that learning and those learning experiences in school settings. I am particularly interested in using inquiry-based teaching methods to help students interrogate their ideas about science, technology, society and education.
