Résumé/CV on Box

Master of Science in Social Work, University of Louisville, 2010

Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, University of Louisville, 2006

My educational background includes a BA in Psychology and an MS in Social Work, both from the University of Louisville. I recently moved to Indianapolis to begin the UES doctoral program. My research interests lie at the intersection of Social Work and Education.

I'm very interested in trauma and the effects that is has on students' education, physical health, and emotional wellbeing. I'm hoping to do research surrounding trauma informed schools, community schools, wrap around services, social-emotional learning, and supports for historically underserved populations. I am a single father of three teenagers who I adopted from the foster care system in Kentucky.

Before entering this Ph.D. program, when I used to have free time, I enjoyed spending time with friends and family, reading non-text books, spending time in nature, gardening, and traveling.
