      You have been chosen to buy artwork for a brand new art museum.  You will need to buy many different kinds of artwork but still stay in budget.  You will also have to design where the artwork will go in your museum.

Your task:

colourpencil.gif (276 bytes)You will have $1,000,000 to spend on artwork. Three-dimensional artwork costs $100,000 a piece and two-dimensional artwork costs $50,000 a piece.  Don't overspend!

colourpencil.gif (276 bytes)  You must have many different kinds of artwork including pieces from the 20th century (1901 - 2000), the 19th century (1801 - 1900), and ancient art (the date has B.C. behind the number).

colourpencil.gif (276 bytes)  You will then decide where your pieces will be placed in your museum so that everyone can see them.
