Patricia Tefft Cousin Scholarship: Awarded to a full-time, undergraduate SOE student majoring in Elementary Education with a demonstrated interest in Special Education, Literacy, or Early Childhood. Preference given to non-traditional, returning female students.

Barbara L. Wilcox Scholarship: Awarded to a junior or senior SOE student pursuing teacher certification. Preference given to minority students.

School of Education Faculty and Staff Scholarship: Awarded to an SOE student in the Teacher Education program. Preference given to students who will be student teaching during the current academic year.

Ruth Esther Holland Scholarship: Awarded to a full or part-time undergraduate SOE student, with a least a sophomore standing, majoring in Elementary Education, Reading or Language Arts.

Mary A. and O'Dell Thompkins Scholarship: Awarded to a School of Education student who has been accepted into the Teacher Education Program, is majoring in elementary education, and has a record of academic excellence as demonstrated by a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Preference given to an African American female.

Ernest G. Heppner Scholarship: Awarded to a student majoring in social studies or language arts who demonstrates a commitment to teaching Indiana´s children about the Holocaust.
