Welcome to the IU School of Education. The School of Education is a core campus academic
unit of Indiana University offering undergraduate and graduate programs on both the
Bloomington and IUPUI campuses. Our IUPUI programs have a special focus on urban
education--preparing teachers, counselors and educational leaders to work in urban schools
and other educational settings.
The mission of the Indiana University School of Education is to improve teaching, learning, and human development in a diverse, rapidly changing, and increasingly technological society. The implementation of this mission at IUPUI is defined by the campus' location in the largest population center in the state. Our Indianapolis location provides both the opportunity and the resources to focus research, teaching and service on the issues related to urban education in America.
