The Curriculum Resource Center (CRC) has continued to grow and develop into an essential component of the teacher education program in the School of Education. It is much more than a collection of books, it is the supporting centerpiece for the academic program of the School. Direct support of the program is provided through a vast collection of K-12 textbooks and materials utilized daily by over 143 sections of education courses, 1200 students and over 80 full and part-time faculty. Materials are taken into the classrooms and entire classes visit the CRC to utilize and evaluate these resources. The CRC supports the technology activities of the students with a variety of media materials and equipment and also provides the resources so that students can create and develop their own learning materials. The Center receives thousands of dollars in free books and materials by serving as a textbook adoption review site for the state. The CRC houses the Teachers' Resource Center for Math and Science.

Perhaps most importantly, the CRC serves as a place for our students to meet to study, work on group projects, and network. It also provides a communication point for our student groups. It is truly the center of student activity for education undergraduates.

The Curriculum Resource Center is located at 902 W. New York St. on the first floor of the Education/Social Work Building at IUPUI in room 1125. Use Entry 6 directly across from the Natatorium.

• Most CRC materials may be checked out for a four-week period
• You may renew materials a maximum of two times, if they have not been requested
• Renewals may be made in person, by phone, or by email on the day that they are due
• If an item is checked out, we can place a hold on it and will notify you that it cannot be renewed
• All materials must be returned at the end of the semester

• You must be currently enrolled in a School of Education course for the semester you wish to check out materials.
• Please bring a syllabus or class schedule the first time you would like to check out each semester.

There is a fine of 25 cents per day per group of unreturned items, with one day grace period with no fine.

Technology items are checked out for either a one or two week period (depending on the item). They are non-renewable, and there is a $5.00 fine for every day they are unreturned, with no grace period.
