Applying to the Graduate Program
Please note the application deadlines for graduate programs:

Fall application deadline: May 1
Spring application deadline: November 1
Summer application deadline: March 1

All students applying for a master's degree in education must apply to the School of Education. You may apply by using the link at the bottom of this page.

Please note: The Graduate Non-Degree policy states that students may take no more than 9-12 graduate credit hours in an academic discipline under the graduate non-degree status.

Graduate Certification Applicants Note:
In the Educational Objectives section of the application, choose
Type of Admission: Masters
Academic Program: Education Graduate Nondegree
Major: Teacher Certification

 In addition to the online application with personal goals statement, you must also submit:
  1. Official GRE scores

    The GRE is waived for Elementary, Secondary, Language, and Special Education Masters applicants if the undergraduate GPA is 3.0 or higher.

  2. Two letters of recommendation
  3. Official transcripts (except from IU schools)
