The Office of Professional Development at the IU School of Education at IUPUI is pleased to announce a new partnership with Shelbyville School Corporation. Twenty-six secondary educators have been selected to participate in a Learning Technologies Grant from the Indiana Department of Education. This grant, funded from Enhancing Education Through Technology Title II D, offers educators an opportunity to improve core-subject classroom teaching and learning through the use of technology in Indiana schools.  The IU School of Education at IUPUI will provide ongoing professional development and faculty support to the selected participants. Educators participating use technology to inspire student learning through a focus on creative and collaborative knowledge construction, and create technology-enriched learning environments that promote active learning on the part of all students.
